Prism thread snips are a little more expensive because they go through a process called electroplating, which fuses a metal coating on the scissors and creates the prism color effect.

Due to the manufacturing process and the nature of our hand-finished scissors, some scissors may have superficial scratches that do not diminish the overall quality of the scissors, but may not be as aesthetically pleasing. Please note that softer metals such as high carbon steel are more prone to scratches. This is what we consider normal wear during our manufacturing process.

All LDH Scissors products are covered with a 10-year warranty that covers all manufacturing defaults such as broken blades and broken handles. The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from regular wear and tear, improper handling and storage, exposure to excessive moisture/oxidation, internal damage, and misuse.)
